Carly + Becca’s Hoyt Arboretum engagement session took place at the Redwood Deck at Hoyt Arboretum. Hoyt is truly such a stunning part of Portland and we’re always excited to shoot there. Nestled right out of the city is this beautiful park with tall sequoia redwoods that just have this beautiful red color and the smell of them is just so fresh. There are also some other beautiful areas inside Hoyt Arboretum like the bamboo garden where we did some of their engagement portraits. You can even have your wedding at the redwood deck inside the Hoyt Arboretum. Which also makes for a quintessential PNW Wedding.
Carly and Becca just moved to San Diego in March of 2020 so we thought showing off the magical parts of their city to their family and friends was the way to go. Thats why we chose to do their engagement session at Hoyt Arboretum.
These two are just so lighthearted and so playful. They even brought along their pup Atticus who will also be in their wedding party! We are so excited to capture their wedding in September at Nordic Northwest this year!
