Rachael and Bret had their wedding in May at The Griffin House so in typical spring PNW fashion – it poured rain. Luckily it started raining right after their ceremony. Rachael and Bret did a first look so we got all of their portraits done before the ceremony.
We worked with our favorite coordinator Stephanie from Union Event Co. She makes things so smooth and easy going. We can’t recommend her enough.
The Griffin House is nestled right on a cliff with stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. Its about 1 hour from Portland and only 5 minutes from downtown Hood River which makes it so accessible. Bret and Rachael’s wedding day at the Griffin House was filled with good laughs and emotional tears. They started the day by getting ready on separate floors inside the house. They had their first look followed by wedding party portraits, family portraits, and then couple portraits with the stunning view in the back. Rachael was emotional in the best ways. Our hearts melted as she was crying while walking down the aisle. You can really feel the love in the room with all of her reactions to all of her guests during cocktail hour and dinner. These two truly valued their friends and family and it showed throughout their wedding day.
