The Evergreen Wedding in Portland, Oregon
Sam and Drew had their wedding at the Evergreen, which is this beautiful open space with historic features but a modern industrial vibe. One of the best parts about having your wedding at the evergreen is the diversity of the space. You get to have your ceremony at The Evergreen, your cocktail hour at Loyal Legion, and if you want to sneak downstairs for some fun and unique portraits you can do that at underground speakeasy, Voysey.
Sam and Drew are so thoughtful and intentional. They invited up all of the couples who had to cancel their weddings during covid and let them share their special first dance. You could tell there was just a whole lotta love in the room based on all of the tears shared.
The Redwood Deck at Hoyt Arboretum
Sam and Drew both loved nature and while they were excited to have their ceremony and reception at the evergreen they still wanted to incorporate the beauty of the pacific northwest. They decided to do their first look, couple portraits, and wedding party portraits at the redwood deck at Hoyt Arboretum.
Having us photograph and film in multiple locations means we’re spending all day together. Sam and Drew received over 1400 images on their day so narrowing it down to tell their story for a blog was a challenge! We wanted to include so many photos but somehow narrowed it down to about 250.
