Matt and Libby had their wedding at Biddle Ranch Vineyard in San Luis Obispo, California. Biddle Ranch is this beautiful property located just right out of SLO. Surrounding Biddle Ranch are beautiful olive trees and vineyards. Matt and Libbys family got to stay on the property for the weekend which is a huge bonus when choosing a venue. One of our favorite features of the space is the huge fireplace which Marshall Gardens made into an art piece. The flowers and greenery were cascading down the fireplace blowing perfectly in the calm wind. They had their ceremony in front of the fireplace where they said their vows to one another. Their vows had all of their guests choking up.
After the ceremony they had their cocktail hour under the beautiful olive trees followed by dinner on the lawn. The lawn is romantically lit by string lights and the wooden rectangle tables added dimension. The vintage glassware added the perfect amount of color. They had pizza family style and shared laughs during speeches. The night ended with dancing and ice cream and cookies from Haute Sugar. A wedding at Biddle Ranch Vineyard is a perfect space to host your family and friends.
Matt and Libby were our first clients who wanted a super8mm and digital highlight film. We loved doing both because you get the nostalgia of super8mm but also the crisp and clean feeling of digital.
The energy of the day was calm and intimate. We captured the wedding in a way that complemented super8mm and the mood of the day. We are shooting a lot of film lately and have been inspired by movement and shadows which we incorporated throughout the photos and video.
